Druj started out as Jahy's loyal servant, basically agreeing with everything she said and even volunteering to be a test subject for Jahy's weapons. Her devotion ran deep—so deep that she'd rationalize Jahy's most selfish or harmful decisions as lessons or acts of kindness. Even when things clearly weren't in her favor, Druj convinced herself Jahy had good reasons.
These days, though, Druj has moved on to bigger things. She's built a successful company in the human world, having left her old role behind.
Her name comes from Zoroastrianism, where "druj" refers to a demoness and also represents deceit and lies—major vices in that religious tradition. It's a fitting name given her past as someone so willing to be manipulated, though her current success suggests she's grown beyond that dynamic.
