Appearance
Despite her age, Tobera looks like a young teenager—a side effect of her Peach Blessing that keeps her physically youthful. She has short dark hair styled with two braided locks and usually wears a hairband. Her go-to outfit is a sailor-style schoolgirl uniform, which fans often note fits her surprisingly childish personality. When she was active as Head Commander, she'd switch to the standard Anti-Demon uniform: a traditional jacket paired with an asymmetrical half-skirt and notably long fur-trimmed epaulettes.
Personality
Tobera rules the Azuma family with an iron fist and a "might makes right" philosophy. Her core belief is simple: prove your strength or face the consequences—no exceptions, no room for sentiment. She's pushed this mentality hard on her children and grandchildren, and it's stuck. She'll do basically whatever she wants within the family hierarchy, famously forcing her granddaughter Himari into uncomfortable situations without hesitation. That said, she's not completely rigid; she respects the chain of command and backed down when her daughter Fubuki became the new clan head.
Her personality is a weird mix of domineering and childish. She's perverted and playful (grabbing people's butts during fights, scheming to help her granddaughter seduce Yuuki), loves sweets and gambling, and has a hair-trigger temper when people oppose her or point out her flaws. She's bold and impulsive, which keeps things interesting.
Fighting Ability
Tobera is legitimately formidable. Her Peach Blessing lets her maintain both her youthful appearance and her combat prowess despite her age. She's fast and strong enough to dodge sneak attacks and counter them instantly. However, retirement has made her lazy—soft enough that Fubuki beat her in a real fight, which says something about where she stands now compared to her days as Anti-Demon Commander.
