Isumi is one of Nagi's closest friends—they go way back to a party in their childhood. She's best known for always wearing a kimono and having long black hair. Unlike most of the other kids at that party, Isumi was genuinely interested when Nagi showed her early manga work that everyone else had laughed at. She even asked how the story ended, which led to Nagi (in typical childish fashion) proposing to her on the spot.
Isumi comes from serious money like Nagi does, but that's where the similarities end. She's soft-spoken and genuinely kind, plus she can actually cook—a skill Nagi completely lacks. Her navigation skills are. complicated. She's not directionally hopeless, but she has a habit of forgetting where she's even going in the first place, which inevitably means getting lost. Weirdly, she's also capable of vanishing from sight instantly when she needs to.
Romance-wise, Isumi has feelings for Hayate. She's protective of his happiness and hates seeing him upset.
