An independent exorcist and officer for the Onmyo Agency, he's earned the nickname "Omnipotent Sword" thanks to his Divine General status. He works alongside Reiji Kagami.
Back at Onmyo Academy, he was part of the 36th class cohort with Jin Ohtomo—the two of them, along with Ryo Saotome, made up a notorious trio called the Three Crows. His shikigami are a pair of Tengu called Karasu-Tengu, which he relies on in combat.
