Twenty-Fifth Bam is the main character of Tower of God. He's an Irregular—someone who entered the Tower without going through the normal selection process—but unlike the legendary Irregulars before him, he's young and genuinely inexperienced, so his powers don't match what you'd expect from someone with that status.
Bam enters the Tower hunting for Rachel, his best friend and the only person who ever visited him during years of isolation in an underground cave. Once he's inside, he learns that climbing the Tower will answer all his questions. He immediately faces a deadly test that shouldn't be survivable, but he pulls through and advances to the second floor—where actual Regulars begin their journey. From there, he befriends other candidates and they work together to survive the floor's challenges.
