Tanmoku Shinsuke
A guardian sent by the Shenlong family to look after the Duanmu clan. He works directly under Duanmu Xi, his master, and is fiercely loyal to him—though people close to him suspect he's hiding something significant.
Shinsuke's got a sharp mind and impressive physical strength, which makes him valuable in his role. The catch is that he tends to hyperfocus on one thing at a time, which can make him tunnel-visioned when he locks onto an objective. It's partly what makes him so effective at his job, but also partly what holds him back.
