Bunchuu serves as the Yin's military strategist and has done so for the past 300 years, watching over thirty emperors across that span. He took on this role out of loyalty to a promise he made to Shushi, a spirited young woman he trained with long ago. Despite his centuries of service, he's known for staying out of human conflicts and rarely taps into his full sennin abilities during warfare.
When he does fight, though, Bunchuu is genuinely formidable. He ranks among Kingou island's strongest warriors, backed by his spirit beast Kokukirin and the powerful paopei Kinkuben. Most who cross him don't stand a chance—but his self-imposed restraint means few ever see what he's truly capable of.
