Jei is a shinobi from Kumogakure known for dressing similarly to Kirābī. He stumbles upon Kirābī mid-battle against Akatsuki members while the Eight-Tailed Beast is transformed, and immediately alerts the Raikage to what he's seen. Using his lizards, Jei attempts to track down Kirābī's attackers, but gets caught in the process. Other Kumogakure ninja eventually find him, though what actually happened to him remains unclear.
