Sigewinne is the head nurse at the Fortress of Meropide. She's a Melusine who once transformed into human form to save a child she'd bonded with—a risky move in Fontaine, where such things weren't exactly legal. Her conviction to the fortress is essentially the price she paid for that choice.
What makes her stand out is how she uses her unique perspective as a Melusine to understand and care for the people around her, even if she's now stuck in a human body.
