The Berrybaker kids showed up in "A Battle by Any Other Name!" as competitors in the Poké Puff Contest, bringing their Makuhita along for the challenge. They made it through the preliminaries and qualified for the finals, which got both them and their Pokémon pumped. In the final round, they went with Japanese-style Poké Puffs—and it paid off. They ended up taking home the win.
