Keiko is a nurse who works at the castle clinic under Dr. Anna's direction. The clinic has an unusual specialty—using Pokémon to treat human patients, handling everything from muscle pain to wounds.
She appeared in "Hassle In The Castle" (Episode 167) as a character of the day. When Brock and Dr. Anna ended up trapped in a strange maze beneath the clinic, Keiko stepped in to help by guiding Ash and Misty through the castle maze to find the exit in the nearby forest.
