Professor Magnolia is a Pokémon researcher from Galar who's best known for her extensive work on Dynamax—she's been studying the phenomenon for years. She's the one who helped both Dande and her own granddaughter Sonia get started on their trainer journeys back when they were kids. Sonia actually followed in her footsteps and became a researcher herself, working alongside her grandmother on their ongoing Dynamax research.
