Nine is the main villain of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising. He's best known for his devastating weather-controlling quirk, which let him summon massive thunderstorms and create tornadoes with himself at the center. The problem? The quirk was too destructive for his own body to handle—it gradually destroyed his cellular tissue from the inside out.
To fix this, Nine underwent genetic modification using All for One's DNA, which gave him a diluted version of All for One's quirk-stealing ability. This let him absorb and use up to eight other people's quirks simultaneously. It's unclear whether he could pass these stolen quirks to someone else, but the modification came with a nasty trade-off: his body deteriorated even faster, and he tired out much quicker in combat.
