Kuma II debuted in Tekken 3 as the successor to his father, the original Kuma, who passed away of old age shortly after the second tournament. Like his predecessor, he serves as Heihachi Mishima's loyal pet and bodyguard throughout the series, appearing in every game since his introduction.
His most notable trait is probably his unrequited crush on Panda. She's never returned his feelings and has made it clear she's not interested, though she's occasionally shown enough concern to gently remind him that the age gap makes things impossible. Despite the rejection, Kuma remains persistently smitten.
