Takaki leads Tekkadan's younger kids and runs a tighter ship than the adults used to. He pushes them to pull their weight instead of coasting, which is a pretty big shift in how things work. He's got a seven-year-old sister named Fuka living in an orphanage—she's six years younger, making him thirteen. Once he started earning money with Tekkadan, he was finally able to get her placed somewhere safe. His real goal is scraping together enough to send her to school eventually.
