Naoya Kirihara is a clairvoyant and telepath with healing abilities—powers that have become more of a curse than a gift. Physical contact, whether with people or objects, floods him with traumatic visions that can leave him catatonic for hours. His brother Naoto is the only exception; touching him causes no visions at all. Naoya depends on Naoto heavily because of this, often positioning himself behind his older brother as a human shield against unwanted contact. As a kid, he'd literally cling to the back of Naoto's jacket when they were out. He calls him "Nii-san."
