Rear Admiral Erlache
Erlache served as a Rear Admiral in the Imperial Fleet and is best known for his role at the Battle of Astarte, where he was killed in action. He and Vice Admiral Staden were among the skeptics of Reinhard's initial strategy going into the battle. When things got heated during the engagement itself, Erlache made the fateful decision to disobey Reinhard's orders—a move that proved disastrous. His flagship, the Heidenheim, was destroyed outright during the Alliance counterattack, caught in the crosshairs of Yang Wen Li's 2nd Fleet. The destruction of his ship and loss of life marked one of the battle's turning points.
