Ayaka Nikaido runs the Second Newspaper Club with a pretty scheming approach—she's basically made it her mission to take down the Student Council president, Kaori Shirakawa, who she sees as her arch-nemesis. She genuinely believes Kaori's corrupt and wants to expose her, and she drags her club members into investigation after investigation trying to prove it. The problem is, this strategy keeps backfiring spectacularly. Every attempt just makes Kaori angrier and lands the club in deeper trouble.
She's also the one who recruited Yuuki Akamatsu into the club, seeing it as a way to help him get better socially. Whether that actually worked out is another story.
