Char's known Persia since they were kids—they go way back. She's basically been Persia's shadow, acting as her chaperone and spending a ton of time with her. They even bunk together at the academy, which means Char's pretty much always around. The thing is, Persia has no idea that Char has actual feelings for her. It's one of those unspoken situations where Char keeps it to herself.
