Xu Liguo is a Nascent Soul cultivator originally from the Tian Gang Sect. He was refined into a devil by Wang Lin, essentially making him Wang Lin's servant. Later on, he gets a significant upgrade when he becomes the Sword Spirit of the Rain Celestial Sword—this happens after Wang Lin inherits the sword from Zhou Yi.
