Kyou Kasahara is a first-year at Eimei Junior and Senior High School and plays on the Badminton Team. He's basically the calm, rational one of the group—good at reading situations and seeing the bigger picture, which makes him a natural foil to Taiki's over-the-top energy. Taiki actually calls him harsh sometimes because Kyou tends to be pretty blunt, though it's never meant maliciously. Interestingly, despite his usual composure, Kyou can get flustered when things get genuinely tense, and he'll sometimes blurt out awkward or silly things when he's nervous.
