Hajime Kashimo is a jujutsu sorcerer with a pretty wild backstory—he's literally been around for 400 years. Originally from centuries past, he's now walking around in a body that Kenjaku prepared specifically to be his vessel, which is already a weird setup even by Jujutsu Kaisen standards.
He's best known for being obsessed with fighting Sukuna. Like, that's basically his whole motivation. He entered the Culling Game as one of its players specifically to hunt down and battle Sukuna, so he's got a pretty singular focus going on. Fans often note that his drive to fight the strongest around is pretty much his defining trait.
