Matsuri is a beautiful girl who was raised in a temple with two other children, Yonosuke and Hinaga. After Hinaga's death in the hands of the Shogun Takarai Tendou, she follows Yono-kun to Edo, who is in a journey to kill the murderer. Although she has feelings for Yono-kun, he doesn't seem interested in her. Her main goal is to make Yono-kun fall for her so that he won't be killed in his quest for vengeance.
