The Invincible Pokémon Brothers—also known as the Three Fighting Brothers—are a trio of arrogant trainers from Viridian City who specialize in Fighting-type Pokémon. The three are Kim (the shortest), Kai (the heaviest), and Kail (the tallest), and each one claims to rank among the strongest trainers in their city, with Kim insisting he's number one.
What's most notable about them is their complete lack of integrity. They're known for pulling dirty tricks during battles—having their Pokémon fake being knocked out before striking, ganging up with multiple Pokémon when one of them starts losing, basically whatever gives them an edge. The worst part? They genuinely don't see themselves as cheaters. When Misty called them out for illegally sending three Tentacruel against her Corsola in what was supposed to be a one-on-one match, Kim just brushed it off as a "challenge from the group as a whole." After Nurse Joy disqualified them for breaking the rules, they had the audacity to claim they'd won fairly and square—which earned them a permanent ban from official Pokémon matches.
Beyond the cheating, the brothers are genuinely cruel. They once had their Tentacruel attack Misty's Gyarados with Poison Sting to intimidate Nurse Joy into lifting their ban, and when Misty jumped in to protect her Pokémon, they didn't hesitate to attack her too. They were actually entertained watching her struggle in the water. In the end, though, they turned out to be complete cowards—the moment defeat became real, they panicked and tried to surrender pathetically before getting sent flying by their own Pokémon.
