Shikoku looks like a cute, short young girl with long purple hair that has snake-like tips at the ends. Her most distinctive features are her slitted eyes, sharp canines, and a black mark on her tongue. She typically wears a traditional Japanese kimono with a red ribbon tying back her hair.
She's outgoing and talkative—basically the opposite of Rairen, who openly despises humans and mocks them relentlessly (even after Tenka nearly killed him). Shikoku's genuinely fascinated by people instead. She uses a smartphone and keeps up with modern culture, which shows how curious she is about the human world.
That said, she's not just playful. She's got a sharp tactical mind and plays things carefully, planning out strategies against the Anti-Demon Corps and staying cool under pressure. She'll even warn Kuusetsu to be cautious when needed. If something doesn't go according to plan, she gets surprised—but she's the type who finds that interesting rather than frustrating.
Not much is known about her past. Before the 7th and 6th Unit's exhibition match, she apparently took down several members of the Anti-Demon Corps' 3rd Unit on her own.
