Shirogane rules over all the Ayakashi as their king. His actual form is massive and fearsome, but when he restrains his power, he shrinks down into something way less intimidating—basically a chubby cat in a bib. He ends up stuck like this after Matsuri seals most of his abilities into a scroll, which. yeah, not great for his ego.
The guy has it out for Suzu. He's fixated on consuming her to boost his own power, and he's clearly bothered by how close she is with Matsuri. That jealousy drives a lot of his antagonism, even if he won't admit it.
