Lay is a young demon with shoulder-length white hair and striking blue eyes. He's best known for his exceptional swordsmanship—basically a prodigy with the blade, which is pretty remarkable considering he has almost no magical talent whatsoever. What makes this even more interesting is that he can handle holy swords, weapons that normally can't even be touched by demons.
His backstory is pretty heavy: when Lay was just five years old, his family had basically written him off and expected him to die. That's when Sheila Glanzudlii, a half-spirit, half-demon woman, stepped in and adopted him. She's been his mother ever since.
