Weapon: Off the Ball Movements
Asahi Naruhaya is a former Team Z member who didn't make it past the Second Selection.
The guy's got fluffy blonde hair, darker round eyebrows, and long eyelashes—and he's noticeably short for a soccer player with a pretty small frame overall. He's the type to steal food and crack jokes around the team, but there's real depth underneath the mischief. Being one of the oldest siblings in his family, he carries the weight of that responsibility into his game.
What makes Naruhaya interesting is his brutal self-awareness. He knows he's not on the same level as true talents like Barou, Nagi, or Bachira, and he made no bones about it to Isagi—he understood going into their 2v2 that if he lost, he was done. When that loss came against Barou and Isagi/Nagi, he felt the sting but also something like relief. He wasn't cut out for the dream of becoming the world's best striker, and deep down he'd always known it. Still, making it to the Second Selection felt like enough. He left on good terms, genuinely wishing Isagi well.
His real strength is off-the-ball movement—actually more refined than Isagi's. He reads defensive formations with sharp analytical instincts and positions himself perfectly, exploiting blind spots and gaps where defenders forget to look. He's skilled enough to slip past even players like Isagi when it counts.
