Tadashi was a qualified physician who actually made a name for himself in genomic drug research at True Cross University—pretty impressive credentials. But despite all that expertise, he chose to work as a security guard at the Eastern Gate of True Cross Academy instead. He stuck with the job for about twenty-two years before eventually switching gears to become a monk at Southern Cross Boys' Monastery, where he spent another sixteen years.
