She works as both a teacher and school nurse at the same school where Sakuya and Shinichiro study. The Shimazu clan has officially appointed her as Sakuya's guardian, though her actual day-to-day role involves a lot more teasing than protecting. She's constantly messing with both siblings—pulling pranks, cracking jokes at their expense, that sort of thing.
She's also developed feelings for Shinichiro. At one point, she straight-up proposed to him, suggesting marriage would solve his job-hunting problems. He, predictably, didn't take her seriously.
