Sajou wears glasses—he's had them since kindergarten due to severely poor vision (below 0.1 in both eyes). He's got short black hair and slanted eyes. Academically, he's sharp, especially in physics, though music really isn't his thing. Food doesn't excite him much; if pressed, he'd go with squid.
He was born in late autumn as the eldest son. His mother's from Kyoto and his father's from Yokohama. His grandfather was a college professor of Christianity and now lives in New Zealand.
