Judar is one of the four Magi alive today and stands out as a master of Ice Magic—which makes him a "Blue Magician" since ice falls under Water Magic. As the Oracle of both Al-Thamen and the Kou Empire, he holds serious power, though his arrogance and cruelty are just as legendary as his abilities.
His personality is basically the worst. Arrogant, childish, and dismissive of everyone around him—even other Magi don't escape his disrespect. He does whatever he wants without listening to anyone, and honestly doesn't care what people think. He's a skilled actor too, which he uses mainly to mock and manipulate people. That said, he's not entirely heartless; he holds actual grudges and clearly resents how Al-Thamen and Gyokuen Ren exploited him his whole life. He's even questioned why they couldn't have done the same to Scheherazade or Yunan instead.
Judar's childhood was tragedy wrapped in exploitation. The Rukh chose him as a Magi, but his entire village—including both parents—was slaughtered by Al-Thamen right after he was born. The organization raised him from infancy, training him in magic while using him for their own purposes. When the Kou Empire was founded, Al-Thamen handed him over to become their Oracle and High Priest.
As a Magi, Judar has nearly endless Magoi to draw from, but here's the catch: without Magic, he's physically weak and completely reliant on others. It's a strange vulnerability for someone so powerful.
His name comes from a character in One Thousand and One Nights.
