New Zealand joined the Hetalia cast in 2010 and remains something of a mystery character. Its gender hasn't been officially confirmed, which fans have debated endlessly. It's got blonde hair styled with distinctive curly ahoges on both sides—fans often joke they look like sheep horns, which feels fitting given what we know about the character.
The design includes notably thick eyebrows that are pretty similar to England's, suggesting some kind of family resemblance between the two characters.
Very little has been revealed about New Zealand's personality or backstory so far. What fans do know is that it keeps a pet sheep and a pet kiwi bird named Kiwi-san, which is about as on-the-nose as character design gets—and honestly kind of charming for it.
