Jurgens commands the military airborne battleship Izumo, though he's more thoughtful about his role than you'd expect from a by-the-book military captain. He's best known for constantly butting heads with Dominic Sorel, who regularly uses the ship as his personal transport and apparently has opinions about everything Jurgens does aboard it. Their friction is pretty much constant—Sorel's always finding something to complain about regarding how the captain runs things.
