Liora is Tiona Rudolvon's close friend and maid-in-waiting. Best known for her love of meat—she's always roasting it on a spit—she was picked for the job partly because of her athletic background as a member of the Lulu tribe.
Her tribal roots mean she's still getting the hang of continental customs and common sense. She speaks the common language with a noticeable accent and broken phrasing, though people usually understand her well enough. Things like grilling meat outdoors or, say, shooting a fly with a bow and arrow seem perfectly normal to her, which has led to plenty of mishaps during her duties as a maid. She causes trouble fairly regularly, honestly.
Still, she's deeply loyal to Tiona. She worries sometimes that she's more of a burden than a help, given how often things go wrong around her. Tiona keeps reassuring her that's not the case, though—and it seems to stick.
