Fraurem is a demon and the daughter of Bizel Chrome, one of the Demon King's top advisors. She's known for being genuinely hardworking and talented, though she didn't always plan to stay in the human world.
Her father sent her to Hiraku's village initially as a spy—tasked with gathering intel on their military capabilities. That mission didn't go as intended. She ended up befriending the villagers pretty quickly, bonding with both the humans and the resident monsters and magical beasts. Before long, she'd basically become part of the community herself.
Eventually she got pulled into an official role as the government liaison between the Demon Kingdom and the village. She wasn't thrilled about it at first, but she took the job seriously and turned out to be a genuinely capable negotiator. She's helped broker trade deals between Taiju Village and Shashaato, a coastal city, proving herself valuable in diplomatic work despite her initial reluctance.
