Ayakashi with Freezing Touch
This ayakashi is best known for its perpetual confusion—it's constantly looking for something it can't quite recall, which is pretty much its whole thing. When it crosses paths with Natsume during a snowy encounter, it asks for his help tracking down whatever's lost to its memory.
The creature has a dangerous habit of freezing anything it makes contact with, which makes interactions pretty risky. Despite this hazard, there's something almost pathetic about how it desperately wants to remember what it's lost, and Natsume finds himself drawn into helping despite the obvious danger.
