Tgurneu is one of the three Kyouma leaders, sharing power with Cargikk and Dozzu. He commands around 40% of the Kyouma forces directly, overseeing a roster of elite "special tools"—warriors who evolved under his guidance to master specific abilities.
Of the three leaders, Tgurneu has the deepest involvement in the heroes' history. He orchestrated the destruction of Adlet's village eight years prior, planted a fake sixth flower among the party, and orchestrated Fremy's creation as a weapon. He ordered her to hunt Saints and powerful warriors, then had her cast aside after she failed against Chamo—a betrayal that defines much of her character.
What makes Tgurneu stand out is his psychological manipulation. He's spent centuries studying human emotion, becoming expert enough to predict behavior by engineering the right feelings. His cunning is almost legendary among the Kyouma; he's a master liar who understands human nature better than almost any creature alive. Even his own form and identity are shrouded in deception, making it genuinely hard to tell when he's being sincere or simply toying with his opponents.
This last quality is telling. Sometimes it seems like breaking the six flowers psychologically matters more to him than any actual strategic goal. Whether he's playing mind games or pursuing genuine Kyouma interests remains unclear—and that ambiguity appears intentional.
The three leaders don't get along. Tgurneu actively avoids working with Cargikk or Dozzu, and wouldn't hesitate to kill either if the chance arose.
