First Appearance: Volume 3
Albion Gwiber is one of the two Heavenly Dragons and Ddraig's arch-rival. He's currently sealed within the Divine Dividing, a Longinus sacred gear wielded by Vali Lucifer. Both he and Ddraig are legendary for their raw destructive power—angels, fallen angels, and devils all fear them equally, and they're said to be capable of killing gods and satans alike.
Originally known just as Gwiber, Albion was an invincible dragon whose venom could kill practically anything, including gods. The problem? That made him unbearably lonely. Being too powerful to have a real challenger left him depressed and resentful of his own abilities—until he encountered Ddraig, a Welsh Dragon whose immunity to his poison made him the first real equal Albion had ever found. Excited to finally have a worthy rival, Albion sealed away his venom and threw himself into constant combat with Ddraig, developing new techniques like Divide and Reflect in the process. The two became known as the Heavenly Dragons, and their endless battles to grow stronger tore through the Realm of the Dead.
Their rivalry eventually drew unwanted attention. During one of their fights, the Three Factions—Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels—were locked in their own war and interrupted the dragons' clash. In retaliation, both dragons attacked the leaders of all three sides. The factions' response was to destroy their bodies and seal their souls into separate Sacred Gears. Albion ended up trapped in Divine Dividing.
Over the centuries, countless hosts have wielded Divine Dividing and continued the ancient rivalry against Ddraig's successive hosts. His current wielder is Vali Lucifer.
Physically, Albion is an enormous white western dragon with a pure white body, blue eyes, and two golden horns. Unlike typical western dragons, his wings are feathered. He's based on the white dragon of Welsh mythology, which historically symbolized England.
