Saiki Kusuo is a second-year student at PK Academy who happens to be an absurdly powerful psychic—which he finds mostly boring. He's been gifted with these abilities since birth, and after years of being able to do literally anything, he's developed an almost complete lack of interest in the world around him. That said, he's not reckless; he's actually pretty cautious, which makes his irrational fear of Nendou (basically the only person who can shake him) kind of funny. He also has an inexplicable habit of immediately teleporting away the moment he spots an insect, which doesn't fit his otherwise cool demeanor at all. Outside of his godlike powers, he's known for his serious sweet tooth—coffee jelly especially.
His abilities showed up early and weird. Within two weeks of being born, he'd already telepathically spoken to his parents without opening his mouth. By two months old, he was casually walking through the air. At one year old, he made his first deliberate use of his powers: when his mom mentioned they were out of mirin, he just teleported away and came back with several bottles. From there, things only got weirder. The full scope of what he can actually do isn't entirely clear, but he's casually mentioned that he could wipe out humanity in three days if he felt like it.
