She's a new student at Starlight Academy who just transferred back from America. Her dad runs an American sushi chain called Kaede Sushi, which is kind of her claim to fame outside of idol stuff. She's best known for her obsession with magic tricks—she's genuinely into performing them, not just casually interested. Her whole aesthetic revolves around toys, which shows up in her aura.
Kaede debuted pretty late in the arcade card releases (wave five) and didn't appear in the anime until Episode 33. Her favorite brand is Magical Toy, which obviously tracks given her interests.
The American background definitely shapes her personality. She throws English phrases into conversation regularly and has this habit of greeting people with cheek kisses, which was apparently normal enough for her to just keep doing. She also auditioned for the Tristar competition at some point.
