Jun Kitagawa is an outgoing guy obsessed with Kaori Misaka—so much so that he calls himself her boyfriend, though she barely tolerates him. He worships her, but it's totally one-sided; fans often joke it's more owner-and-pet than actual romance. The funny part is that despite being completely infatuated with Kaori, he's also a serial flirt who'll chase literally any girl that crosses his path.
He first shows up crashing into Yuuichi and Nayuki while they're shopping, which is how Yuuichi stuck him with the nickname "Luggage Boy." He's in the same class as Kaori, Yuuichi, and Nayuki at school, where he spends most of his time. His biggest moment comes when he ends up as MC for a formal school dance and has to bail Mai out of a tight spot.
