Renton Thurston
A former KLF pilot and New Wave graduate who left the military and went pro as a Lifter. He's best known for stealing the Nirvash from the military in the previous game and handing it over to Holland—a move that basically defined his whole trajectory. These days he pilots the TypeR505 Kai LFO.
The exact reasons behind his military discharge aren't totally clear, but fans have speculated it had something to do with that Nirvash incident or his relationship with Holland and the Gekkostate crew.
