Guwagoze (元興寺) is a youkai who serves as Prime Minister under the Youkai Emperor Nurarihyon. He's probably best known to anime fans as Caroline's father, a role he plays in the fourth movie of the GeGeGe no Kitarou franchise (specifically the one based on the third anime adaptation, *GeGeGe no Kitarou: Gekitotsu!! Ijigen Youkai no Dai-Hanran!!*). Also called Gagoze (がごぜ) or the Demon of Gangoji Temple, he's one of the more powerful youkai in the series hierarchy.
