Johnny McGregor
Age: Season 1: 15; Season 3: 17
Bitbeast: Salamalyon
Johnny's a sarcastic Scottish blader best known for his volatile personality and aggressive style both inside and outside the stadium. He's the last of the Majestics to show up, and while he comes across as a tough guy, he's got a genuine heart underneath—something that becomes clear in "A Lesson For Tyson." His temper, though, is legendarily short.
They call him "The Gladiator of Glasgow" for a reason: his Beyblading is seriously impressive. When he faces off against Kai and the Bladebreakers, he gets schooled partly because Kai actually takes advice from his teammates, while Johnny's the type who refuses to work with anyone. His bit-beast is Salamalyon, and his launcher is shaped like an axe—fitting for someone with his aggressive approach.
Johnny's also into tennis and golf when he's not blading, but Beyblading's his main thing.
From day one, he and Kai butted heads. Johnny wanted a match, and Kai basically told him to get lost—said he only fights "tougher guys." Johnny shot back with something about the Queen respecting him (apparently he's actually met her), which honestly just made Kai dismiss him harder. That's when things escalated: Johnny ripped off his glove and threw it at Kai's back, a move Oliver recognized immediately as a formal duel challenge. It's an old tradition—the glove throw is basically a medieval-style demand for combat, way more serious than it looks.
In Season 3, Johnny makes a brief return after catching the Barthez Battalion red-handed cheating. He tips Tyson off, but points out it's too late to report them—disqualifying them mid-tournament would mess up the whole competition's balance.
