Yuki Ryuunosuke is a Shinigami who takes over guardian duties in Karakura Town from Zennosuke Kurumadani.
Appearance:
Dark hair, standard Shinigami shihakusho, with three circular hair clips on each side of his head.
Personality:
Ryuunosuke is timid and easily spooked—the kind of guy who panics when things get serious. He gets nervous about pretty much everything, especially when faced with actual danger.
Plot:
The Thousand-Year Blood War arc
Ryuunosuke shows up late on his first day of duty, sleep-deprived and anxious about the assignment. Zennosuke gives him grief for it. His partner Shino tries to pump him up, but he's convinced Karakura Town has too many Hollows for him to handle. When she calls him out for his attitude—and he makes an ill-timed joke about her appearance—he gets smacked for it.
That night, Zennosuke escorts them to the Human World and heads out. Shino wants to split up to cover more ground, though Ryuunosuke's clearly uncomfortable with the idea. He immediately finds a Hollow and bolts, screaming for Shino. When he finds her, she's already in a Hollow's grip. He tries to be the hero and draw his sword, but he gets his ass handed to him and ends up bleeding on the ground until Ichigo Kurosaki shows up and saves him.
He wakes up in Ichigo's room the next day and is told he can leave. Orihime's relieved he's okay while Ichigo and his crew argue around him. Ryuunosuke freaks out realizing his rescuer is the famous Ichigo—though apparently he'd been asleep longer than he thought. Ichigo gives him some bread and tells him to put on a Gigai. When Shino arrives, they bicker a bit, then some random guy named Ivan Azgiaro bursts in and gets yeeted out a window by an annoyed Ichigo.
He's the younger brother of Rikichi Yuuki.
