While working alongside the idol group, she rubbed Minako the wrong way at first; Minako was assisting the band, and found Saki's abrasive personality pretty irritating. But as time went on, Minako came to respect the photographer's work ethic and genuine hunger for success.
Sailor Iron Mouse initially pegged Saki as a potential Star Seed bearer and went after her, only to be proven wrong. Left without a target, Saki was transformed into the Phage Sailor Gekisha instead. Sailor Moon, with backup from Sailor Venus and the Sailor Starlights, managed to restore her to normal.
One odd detail that fans often note: Saki's Star Seed appeared in front of her chest rather than anywhere else on her body—she remains the only human character whose Star Seed manifested that way.
