Li Xinlin is a hacker working for China's People's Liberation Army. She was sent undercover into Greenback Jane's operation under the assumed name Feng Yifei, but Jane and her crew saw it coming from a mile away. Instead of blowing her cover, they played along and used Li to get access to PLA systems. When her handlers finally figured out what happened, they decided she'd gone rogue. Rather than deal with her internally, they put out a hit—contracting mercenaries based out of Roanapur to take care of the problem.
