Lord Gremory is the current head of the Gremory Clan. He's the father of both Rias and Sirzechs Lucifer, and grandfather to Millicas.

The Gremory Clan is known for their genuine warmth toward others, and Lord Gremory embodies that trait—he comes across as genuinely kind and approachable. Not much is public knowledge about his earlier life, but he married Venelana Bael and had his two children with her. When Sirzechs ascended to become Satan Lucifer, he forfeited his claim to lead the clan, so Lord Gremory secured a marriage arrangement between his daughter Rias and Riser Phoenix of the Phoenix Clan.
He's best known among fans for his over-the-top enthusiasm when helping out. When Rias asks him to renovate Issei's house so the Occult Research Club girls have somewhere to live, he goes hard—three floors, two basements, an underground pool, and a kitchen that could feed an army. Apparently his original vision was even more absurd, complete with a full staff of maids. He clearly got a little carried away.
What's funny is how comfortable he seems around Issei's parents. He's so convinced Issei and Rias are endgame that he's casually called Issei "Son" before, already treating him like family.
