Ki Juranbarada—better known as the Lost Warlord—is a vampire and the First Primogenitor, essentially the oldest and most powerful of his kind. He's basically running a vampire empire through sheer military dominance, and the other Primogenitors tend to defer to his influence. Fans often note that he was instrumental in brokering the Holy Ground Treaty, the agreement that lets humans and demons coexist without constant bloodshed. So yeah, pretty much a major historical figure in his world.
